Greenacres Community Centre is a real community asset. 

Open 7.30am – 9.00pm Monday to Friday and 9pm -8pm Saturday - Sunday.

The centre is funded by OMBC and other various funding organisations, it is a not for profit organisation a - Registerd Charity CIO No: 1169731, and is also host to 4 other charities/CIC's who use Greenacres Community Centre as their main base, Oldham Play Action Group, Men Behaving Dadly, WiFi Northwest and Computing Reddy. 

We can assist with new and existing community users who are wishing to develop and implement initial ideas to create opportunities for the further benefit of the neighbourhood its residents and the surrounding areas. Our development manager can assist and advise with searching and applying for funding, producing relevant policies and business plans where neseccary. We encourage users of the centre to develop to their full potential, helping them to break down any barriers no matter how big or small. We recognise all personnel achievments including our own and love a good news story.

Laugh and Learn Pre - School is open daily and also provides a before/after School Club along with a Holiday Club. This well established setting as a fully qualified team of staff and the added benefits of the use of all the Community Centres various spaces, both inside and out, ready for all the fine and gross motor skills required for your childs development and learning, no matter what the weather.

Other groups using the centre on a weekly basis are varied and diverse, covering leisure, health, educational and mindfull activities. 

We offer lots of FREE community open sessions, activities aimed at reducing any barriers to social interaction. See centre activities to access Group Pages and Event Calendar for more information. 

The centre is also a good place to hold celebration parties, training or event days, and can be hired out at a very competitive rate (see private hire section). We have a large outside BBQ community space that can be used with prior arrangment. Our staff are friendly and will help and advise you, ensuring your event is a success.
